PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

To educate migrant parents so that they will, in turn, educate their children, so that their children are not lacking in abilities that non-migrant children have. In addition, working with migrant elementary children to help them reach the state standards.

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: 

• High school diploma or GED 

 

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 

• Ability to work well with children
• Knowledge of general office equipment  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills  
• Must be bilingual 

 

EXPERIENCE: 

• Prefer at least 1-2 years experience working with children (i.e.: as a substitute teacher, as a teacher’s aide, or as a daycare worker)
