PRIMARY PURPOSE
To provide on-site encouragement and support to teachers, administrators, and students in the use of technology to support instruction, learning assessment, curriculum development, communication, collaboration, research, equipment repairs, text and multimedia production and resource access.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- One or two years prior computer experience with computer hardware.
- Extensive equipment support experience with Microsoft/Apple Operating Systems and Microsoft/Apple Office Suites.
- Extensive knowlege to support Help Desk tasks
- Able to manage/maintain assigned Help Desk technician work-order system
- Able to lift a minumum of 50lbs
- Able to work independently and/or with others
- Able to install software and manage updates
- Knowledgeable in setting up workstations and peripheral devices
- Maintain confidentiality
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose various computer devices or components
- Perform inventory and other duties as assigned
- Work on projects to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication ability and time-management skills
