EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:        

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Must have a valid Texas teaching certificate

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Must possess general knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
• Must possess knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
• Must have the ability to instruct and supervise student athletes
• Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

EXPERIENCE:              

Prefer at least 3 years experience as coach or participant in sport assigned
