EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:             

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university 
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate, with required endorsements for subject/level assigned

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Must possess general knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures 
• Must possess knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules 
• Must have the ability to instruct and supervise student athletes 
• Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

EXPERIENCE:                  

• Prefer at least 2 years experience as coach or participant in sport assigned.
